Make your holidays in Dalmatia unforgettable by taking a day trip from Split to Plitvice Lakes – one of the most beautiful natural phenomenons in the world inscribed on UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage from 1979.
Enjoy your drive and absorb magnificent sceneries surrounding you. After arrival, your charming tour escort will get your tickets and as soon as you enter you’ll be stunned by the view. Plitvice lakes owe their magical ambiance to the process of tufa formation which has resulted in building the travertine barriers and the creation of the Lakes as a unique universal value.
Take it easy – you have enough time to admire Plitvice lakes which took its place in a heavily forested area populated by deer, bears, wolves and rare bird species. Take a walk through wooden footbridges and pathways that snake around 16 crystalline lakes that tumble into each other via a series of waterfalls and cascades but don’t forget to look up to see clouds of butterflies drifting above. This Plitvice Lakes tour from Split will certainly be the highlight of your holiday.

Nice 6 hours walk. Nice nature
Very nice to talk through, plenty of nature and pics. Worth a visit. Plenty of pit stops on the way to rest eat and drink. We spent a full day, 6 hours, but you can’t stay 1-2 or more days if you fancy trekking, cycling and more walks….
This was a fantastic day trip out. We were a little concerned as the trip from Trogir was quite long and we had to change coaches however, it was so worth it. These lakes change constantly during the day from the purest blue, to the greenest aquamarine and you can see it happening. The number of waterfalls was absolutely phenomenal and the sheer magnificence of nature was a joy to behold. If you do one day trip whilst you are in Croatia then you should do this one.
